History:
Students do a "cut and paste" (restriction enzyme
digest and ligase) exercise to mimic Stanley Cohen's famous
dual antibiotic resistant recombinant plasmid experiment.
These color recombinant plasmids were sent home to decorate
students' Christmas trees. Here is a sampling of their
work.
